Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of uFeed, the service available at https://ufeed.me and related applications (the "Service"), operated by uFeed ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://ufeed.me/privacy). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
uFeed is a video-first food marketplace. Sellers and creators ("Merchants") upload short clips; our AI editor ("uFeed Studio") assembles them into a finished video with music and AI-generated text; consumers can watch videos and, where a menu is linked, order food from the Merchant for delivery or pickup. uFeed is a platform: we host content and facilitate orders between consumers and Merchants. We do not prepare, sell or deliver food ourselves.
3. Accounts
You need an account to upload content or place orders. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction, with parental consent where applicable). You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at ufeedmeapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Your content and license to uFeed
You keep ownership of the clips, photos, text and other content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading, you grant uFeed a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, edit, adapt, publish and display your User Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. This expressly includes processing by automated and AI systems: extracting frames, analyzing them to recognize dishes, editing clips into a finished video, and generating titles and captions.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the User Content you upload — including any people, places, brands, music or other material appearing in your clips — and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. uFeed Studio adds licensed background music to produced videos; you must not add unlicensed music yourself.
5. Rules of use
•
uFeed is for food content. Do not upload content unrelated to food, dining or food creation.
•
No illegal, misleading, obscene, hateful, violent or harassing content; no content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
•
No spam, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
•
Merchants must describe their food truthfully (including prices and, where relevant, allergen information) and comply with all applicable food business laws and licensing requirements.
We may remove content that violates these rules.
6. Orders and payments
When you place an order, the sales contract for the food is between you and the Merchant. uFeed transmits the order, shows you its status, and charges a platform fee to the Merchant. Prices are set by Merchants and shown in Japanese yen. Delivery or pickup is fulfilled by the Merchant.
Payments are currently in test mode: checkout simulates payment and no real money is charged. When real payments launch, they will be processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe) and additional payment terms will apply. Cancellations and refunds are handled between you and the Merchant through the order flow.
7. Food — Merchant responsibility
Merchants are solely responsible for the food they sell: its preparation, quality, safety, hygiene, ingredients, allergen information, packaging, and compliance with applicable laws and permits. uFeed does not inspect or guarantee any food sold through the Service. Any claim relating to the food itself must be directed to the Merchant, though we will reasonably assist where we can.
8. AI-generated content
Videos, titles and captions on uFeed are produced with the help of AI. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — for example, a dish may be misidentified or a description may be imprecise. Merchants are responsible for reviewing the videos and text published under their account. Do not rely on AI-generated descriptions for allergen or dietary decisions; always check with the Merchant.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, or remove your content, if you breach these Terms, harm other users, or create legal risk for the Service — where practicable we will notify you. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing ufeedmeapp@gmail.com.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, uFeed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits or data, or for the acts or omissions of Merchants or other users. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of ¥10,000 or the amount you paid to uFeed in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer protections).
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
